Letter to the family

I consider myself a warm, responsible and empathetic person. I enjoy helping others and try to keep a positive attitude even in challenging moments. Patience and the ability to listen carefully are qualities that define me and allow me to build trust with both children and adults.

I am a psychologist by profession, which has deepened my understanding of human development, emotional intelligence and family dynamics. This training allows me to be more aware and sensitive to children's needs, emotions and behaviours. I am convinced that each child is unique and deserves to be accompanied with love, respect and patience in their growth process.

Moreover, I am an organised person and I like to plan my activities in advance, although I can also adapt easily to new routines and contexts. I enjoy sports such as running and going to the gym.

Experience

I have experience in childcare in both professional and family contexts. As a psychologist, I had the opportunity to work with children between the ages of 7 and 11 in a therapeutic setting, providing psychological accompaniment for six months. This experience allowed me to develop a deeper understanding of children's behaviour, as well as to strengthen essential skills such as empathy, patience and observation of children's emotional processes.

On the family level, I have eight young cousins living in Spain. During a stay with them, I was in charge of their daily care. I greatly enjoyed sharing time with them: helping them with homework, playing, preparing snacks and attending to their daily needs. It was an enriching experience that reaffirmed my vocation to work with children.

So far I have NOT been an Aupair.
