Letter to the family

I am Anjelou, a 25-year-old Filipina living in the Philippines. I want to become an au pair to experience and learn about other cultures while doing what I'm good at- tutoring/caring for kids.

I am a licensed professional teacher and I am looking forward to learning a new language and experiencing a different culture first-hand to equip myself for when comes a time that I am ready to pursue my field, I am more empowered. Becoming an Au Pair and/or Live-in Tutor abroad, is going to help me achieve that, which I think would be very beneficial for my personal and career growth.

Experience

I come from a family of 6 children. Growing up, I was exposed to doing household chores and looking after my younger siblings. I was a working student of a distant relative who has 2 kids back in college. I was responsible for the kids' food preparation, bathe, homeworks, play time, bed time and more.

Beyond that, I convey my enthusiasm and fondness towards children by doing volunteer work and teaching children in my neighborhood to write, read, and do basic math.
