Letter to the family

Dear Host Family,

My name is Emily, I am 19 years old and I am beginning a gap year after my A Levels, before starting university.

I have childcare and babysitting experience for family’s in the UK and I have been an Aupair before for a family in Barcelona which was an amazing expedience. I also had an important roll in school looking after the younger pupils.

Living in the countryside, I am always active and love the outdoors and adventures with my family and my dog.

I am very creative and spend a lot of time cooking and painting along with other hobbies that I love to teach and share with others.

I am a positive and enthusiastic person who loves to learn and get stuck in so I am also willing to help out with housework or chores.

Experience

I have worked as a babysitter in the UK and a Aupair in Barcelona and loved looking after the kids and getting to know the whole family. As head of house at school I had responsibility for the pastoral care and welfare of the younger students including organising sporting and cooking events for them to participate in.


I love travelling and I want to learn about other cultures by emerging myself within them. I’d like to learn about local cuisines and traditions and I’d really enjoy sharing my own culture with another family.
