My name is Milena, and I'm a warm, energetic and creative person who is passionate about human connection.
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology (with Honours), and a tertiary certificate in Early Childhood Education and Care.
I want to become an Au Pair so that I can make an ongoing, positive impact on a family. There is nothing more rewarding for me than nurturing a young mind, and making a difference in my community. I would love to learn about your culture and language, and share my own with you.
I am a clean, positive and respectful person. I deeply value effective communication and problem solving, and I implement these with any person I've lived with. I also love to find joy in normalcy - so you can expect to find me turning cooking into a one-woman show!

Experience

I have been working with young children professionally since 2019.
Most of my experience is with infants (aged 0-2), but I also have plenty of experience with preschool aged children (aged 3-5) and teenagers. I am also well versed in working with children with additional needs.

I have extensive knowledge and interest in developmental psychology and early childhood pedagogy. This means I have plenty of experience planning fun activities, whether that's games, sport, art/craft, literature, etc. This also includes meal preparation, sleep and toileting routines, and behavioural management.

I want to become an Au Pair abroad because I believe I have many skills I would love to apply in a new setting - and I would love to immerse myself in a new culture!
