Dear Family,

My name is Rafaella, I'm 17 years old and will turn 18 on January 30th. I'm very excited about the opportunity to participate in an au pair program, as I believe this experience will be transformative for both me and the family that welcomes me.

I'm passionate about children and believe that caring for them requires more than attention: it requires love, patience, responsibility, and understanding, qualities I carry with me in everything I do. I have a genuine interest in better understanding the world of children, and that's why I study topics related to education and the development of children's minds on my own.

Furthermore, I'm adaptable, loving, and caring, always willing to contribute to the well-being of my family. I'm fully aware of the responsibility of caring for a child and will always be attentive to the rules of the house, the needs of the little ones, and also of the pets, as I love animals and have a veterinary assistant degree, as well as extensive practical experience with them.

I plan to get my driver's license as soon as I turn 18, or even earlier if the regulations in my country allow it. This will allow me to help even more with the children's routines, taking them to and from activities or appointments.

I can also help with light household chores, prepare meals, play games, encourage language learning (such as English), and help with homework or creative activities. I truly want to actively participate in the children's lives, contributing to their growth in a safe, fun, responsible, and respectful way.

I am seeking learning, new experiences, exploring different cultures, and bonding with people from all over the world. In addition to learning and growing, I am always willing to learn new things and develop further.
