My name is Katie! I am 21 years old & am from Orlando, Florida, i've lived here my whole life; however, I studied abroad in high school in Finland for a year & it was my dream to go back abroad after I graduated & then covid hit. I was a varsity water polo player & was on the speech & debate team. I have always worked with kids & babysat for family friends & worked with young kids at church as well as being a vacation bible school volunteer & youth exchange leader! I have experience in helping teach english to foreigners as I worked with Rotary youth exchange for a few years. I would love to work with you & your family & get to know your culture & help out in whatever ways I can!

Experience

Growing up in America has been an amazing experience & I'm very lucky to have given the life that I have but there's just so much more out there that the world has to offer than just central florida. Ive done a good amount of traveling around the Nordic countries & some of South America but nowhere in Europe so far. Studying abroad when I was 16 was really cool but now that I'm older and am more comfortable with who I am as a person I want to immerse myself in different things. I also would like to speak another language besides English, the language education in the USA is terrible.
