Dear families,
I would like to work full-time as an au pair for a family in Germany. Since I am very interested in German culture and language and enjoy spending time with children, I can very well imagine helping a German family that currently does not have an au pair. Please contact me!

My name is Marie-Pascaline and I am 25 years old. I grew up in Lomé (capital of TOGO). I can stay with a family for 12 months.

You can count on me to be caring, warm and patient with your children. I am an open and cheerful person with whom children always have the freedom to talk about anything. At the same time, I behave consistently towards the children so that they become aware of their limits. I can react flexibly and equally well to difficult children. I am also good at organization and find practical solutions when necessary.

I would describe myself as an open, simple person, but also with an analytical mind, always curious and likes to be active, including sports, everything: dancing, going for walks. Additionally, I have always felt inspired by culinary pursuits. I attended a school where we were taught skills like crochet, sewing, etc. as additional materials. I would say that my way of thinking can lead to sometimes unusual and creative solutions to everyday problems.

I have a high school diploma. I studied medicine for two years and currently work with children in an orphanage. During my studies, I also took computer courses on basic concepts and also worked in a kindergarten.

What I like to do professionally:
I love cooking, discovering new things or culture and I also love being in nature. I also like animals, especially cats and dogs. Every Sunday I meet my friends and family for lunch and we have a great time together. In addition to activities, I also enjoy being at home or playing in the garden with the neighborhood children. While cleaning, I like to listen to interesting audio books, music or lectures. Whenever I need some time to relax, I go for a long walk and listen to an audio book. I also like to paint.



I have the German language certificate (A1) and am continuing to learn the language. I have just completed my B1 exams. I can read and understand English, but I don't speak it very well. I'm learning German. French is my native language.

Since I was little, I have loved taking care of the youngest members of my family. I have always played with children at family events. When I started college, I also started babysitting, tutoring, or just helping kids with their schoolwork.

For example, what activities would I suggest to a child?

Of course, a lot depends on the character and interests of the child, but here are some things that I have done with children.

If we wanted to stay at home, we could paint and create beautiful pictures together. The child was also able to teach me his favorite songs and we were able to sing together. Or he/she tells me about his/her favorite book/movie characters and we play role-playing games. If the child is full of energy, we can build him a small obstacle course or a small cave with blankets. Or if he likes to help in the kitchen, we can prepare or cook something together.

We could also play hide-and-seek and guessing games. The child can hide some soft toys in the room. Then I have to look for and find the stuffed animals. When I am going through a difficult time, the child may give me signals such as “hot” (right direction) or “cold” (wrong direction). Or I put a few items in a grocery bag and ask the child to smell them and guess what's inside. Of course, we can also swap the roles so that the child can choose the items and I have to guess what is in the bag.

If we want to do something outside, we can go to the playground and play with other children. We could also go to the nearest park and watch the ducks, play ball and have a little picnic. In my experience with children, I don't always need to plan a specific activity. Because in my experience, children like to discover things or places around them and talk about them. For example, going out can be very exciting for them.
