Dear Host Family,

My name is Alina, I’m 25 years old, and I’m currently living in Spain, where I work as an English teacher at an academy. I have experience teaching children from ages 2 to 17, but I especially enjoy working with younger kids, as I find their curiosity and imagination truly inspiring. I’m a calm, creative, and fun person, and I love incorporating music, crafts, games, and movement into how I connect with children.

I’m reliable, kind, and easy to live with. I adapt quickly, I’m respectful of space and values, and I genuinely care about making children feel seen, safe, and encouraged. I’m also fluent in English and Spanish, have legal residency in Spain (NIE), and I’m happy to assist with light household tasks as needed.

I believe I’m a strong candidate for this position not only because of my professional background in education, but because I bring with me a calm and positive energy that kids often feel comfortable around. I love singing, exploring outdoors, reading stories, and encouraging kids to express themselves freely. My previous experiences as a teacher have taught me how to balance fun with structure — and how to always lead with empathy.
