I have worked with 5+ families in the past 4 years. Each was amazing and so much fun to be with! I currently work with 2 families(mornings and afternoons). During the mornings I help the children prepare for their school day. I try to set them up for success the best way I know how: by instilling confidence within themselves. For my afternoon family, I pick up the kids and help them unwind from their school day. I have set a simple, yet effective and productive, schedule for both/all of my families. My schedule typically includes free time, snacks/meals, chores, homework, outings such as the park, movies, or zoo trips, and naps when needed. I adore the families I have worked with and will miss them dearly. They are supportive and understanding of my life goals, and see that I believe it's time for a change. We will never lose touch and I'll visit when I can. I truly love working with kids! I've never met a child who didn't bring me a new POV or insight I never thought of before. I continue to grow my patience, and love and have unlocked skills I didn't know I had thanks to my job.
