Dear host family,

My name is Maira, I’m 25 years old and I live in Brazil. I have a degree in Law and worked for three years as a public attorney in my hometown, focusing on the defense of children’s and adolescents’ rights. Currently, I volunteer as a catechist in a local parish, where I’ve been working for the past six months with a group of 6-year-old children, organizing educational activities, games, and moments of attentive listening.

I have an intermediate level of English and will take part in a language exchange program in London in August 2025 to improve my skills. Cooking is one of my favorite hobbies, and I’d be happy to help with meals at home as well.

I adapt easily, remain calm when solving problems, and am very responsible when it comes to caring for children. I also have a Brazilian driver’s license (with the possibility of obtaining an International Driving Permit) and a first aid certificate from the Red Cross.
