Alyssa (18 / Ms. ), American, Child Care Worker living in USA looking for Au Pair & Nanny job in Australia, France, Italy, Netherlands & United Kingdom for 1-12 Months

1. Hello, my name is Alyssa, I’m 18 years old and I am currently in college pursuing an Elementary Education degree. I love animals and would love to have many of my own in the future. I love to read and get lost in the world that words can create. I love art, specially drawing, and music.

2. I always felt really lonely because I didn’t have any siblings, I was always so eager to be a big sister and a helping hand, so when I was able to, I would babysit here and there, but finally I became a teaching assistant in a kindergarten class and suddenly I had 20 little siblings! This made me realize the passion I had for helping children and that I wanted to pursue this for the rest of my life. In addition to the internship, I also became a counselor and worker at a place called part 2. We offer summer camps, afterschool program, and childcare during school vacations. It has been the most rewarding work. I have also always wanted to travel, and help provide education to kids in different countries. Being an Au pair or nanny would be a combination of everything I love, and doing that while knowing that I’m making a difference in some kids life is the most important part.

3. Picking someone to care for your children is no easy task. I understand the anxiety of finding someone good and well suited for your families and children. I want to provide comfort and trust. I love kids and I don’t see it as a job, I want it to feel comfortable and exciting.

4. While I have never been an au pair, I have over 1,000 hours of childcare, overnights with children, the ‘mommy helper’ on family vacations so the parents can enjoy themselves. Certified cpr, mandated reporter, registered worker and fingerprints, and a clean record, a state job working with children. 9 hours a day everyday with 30+ children.
