Hello! My name is Madelyn and I am currently an undergraduate student at McGill University studying Mathematics and Computer Science. I am finishing my degree a little early in December of 2025 and want to take a step away from academia for a little before I continue with a Master's or PhD. I am originally from a small suburban area outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I have a lot of experience teaching and tutoring for kids of many different ages and looking after children in general, and after my schooling I want to become a math teacher! I love the outdoors, knitting, sewing, and reading. And, of course, I love learning languages and traveling. I have about 7 years of experience learning and speaking French, about 3 years of German, and a little Italian. I would love to improve my German and/or French, but I am ideally looking for a French-speaking family as that is what I am the most comfortable speaking.
