Dear Host Family, it's so exciting to write to you to give you a better idea of who I am. My name is Jescah but friends and family call me Jessy. I am 25 years old, of Kenyan nationality, and live in Kenya. I speak fluent English an Swahili. I am done with my education, where I did agribusiness management as my degree course. I come from a very large family 9. I live with my mother, father, three brothers, and three sisters. I am the firstborn and have a good relationship with all my family members. During the holidays, we love doing family activities, engaging in fun activities to strengthen the bond with all the embers, and helping our parents as children where possible.

I want to be an au pair as it will give me a direct way to be able to experience different culture from what am used to which has been my main dream to be able to learn new and different way of doing things and different culture.

I love children, and their condition means a lot to me. I don’t want to be a stranger I want to be part to be your family, and I am anxious that they can unconditionally talk to me to help build a good relationship. Us solving their challenges together without anger and tension will help and that is my aim. I want to be their friend, contact person and role model and I am an active individual who will motivate and help them. In all kinds of situations am cordial and patient and adaptable and open-minded which are two of my strengths and I can accustom myself very fast to new situations which is why I would be a good au pair. I am adequate to the task of being an au pair because I am mature and reliable.

My love for children motivates me to be actively involved in community activities with kids, helping and playing with them during the holidays. During holidays, I tutor my siblings and help care for them with my neighbors' kids. I play with the kids, read stories, and dance with them. I am a fun-loving, open-minded person with a happy personality, responsible, reliable, dedicated, creative, and accountable.
I also love helping out when I can. Learning new things is my priority, and I would love to learn from your family. I can promise your children will be in good hands. We would have a lot of fun, and they will never be bored. Thus I would appreciate it if you would commit me to your children, and I will be aware of my responsibilities and duties as an au pair.
