Emi (25 / Ms. ), American, Au Pair living in France looking for Au Pair job in France & United Kingdom for 3-12 Months

I am a peaceful and creative person who loves to spend time outside, painting, ceramics, thrifting, watching cinema, and using a camera. I try to look for beauty in all things, which is part of why working with children is such an honor. They are seeing the world with fresh eyes and no expectations.

I chose to start au pairing this year after graduating from university. I want to use this opportunity of my youth and flexibility to continue learning and growing. I hope to practice my French and explore the area and hopefully meet other young people.

A good fit for me is a family with clear expectations. I can be flexible, but I work better if I have an understanding of the expected routine and requirements. I am introverted, so it is better for me to have a space where I can go to when not with the family. My preference is to have a separate living space, but if healthy boundaries are communicated, I can make do with a room in the family’s home.

This year has been my first experience au pairing, but I have been working in childcare in some capacity for over 10 years. While in University, I studied Religion and Child/Family studies.
