Hi! I’m Allie and I’m originally from Kenosha, Wisconsin. I’m in my third year of college at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh where I major in psychology with a minor in advertising. I’ve always loved kids, and now being a psychology major, I put an extra emphasis on the importance of helping children validate and understand their emotions. I have a lot of experience taking care of kids as I am the oldest in my family and have two younger brothers, so I started watching and taking care of them from a young age. In middle school and high school I babysat around my neighborhood as well as for some previous teachers I had. My approach when it comes to taking care of kids is making sure that they know they’re cared for and understood. For example - when they talk to me I get on my knees so that we’re at eye level.
