Letter to the family

Hi there, dear parent ! My name is Ariana, and I reside in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

I have 4 full years of experience being a preschool class teacher, as well as a preschool/ toddler manager in an International School for the past year. I left my full time job due to long working hours that kept me away from work-life balance, however not long after, I missed the children and fulfilling my passion, hence am still teach English to both adults and children, as well as coach tennis and pickleball in the evenings and weekends.

I have experience working with children from ages 2 months to 14 years, including children with special needs. I am a firm believer that every child is entitled to great childhood memories, experiences and of course, safety. My genuine passion for contributing to children's lives in their crucial years of development is why I found myself in this career line.

Experience

The reason I found myself exploring this opportunity as an au pair is because I am looking for a change of living environment whilst still working with children. Moving abroad is something I have always wanted to experience, however, would seem lonely to pack up and leave on my own. I would prefer moving to a new country, where it would still feel like home being able to care for a family, as well as financially would help me sustain my stay there.

I am an open book and will be genuine with my experience, I do not have official au pair experience on this website, however have spent many hours looking after relative's and friend's children, and have taken it as an honour that I am always trusted to look after them. As well as my previous full time job had me spend 10.5 hours a day with 20 toddlers and preschoolers. I felt like a superwoman each day!

As far as my efforts go, if required, I would be happy to teach English (or other subjects) , as well as sports to the children (or whole family).
