Hi all! Thank you for taking the time to check out my profile :) My name is Alex. I'm 18 and I'm from Ontario, Canada.

I'm looking for experiences before I move onto post secondary education. I hope to be a social worker or a recreational therapist in my future. But for now, I'm taking a gap year or two after I graduate high school next month to have some time to adventure and Au Pair/ Home share seems to be my calling!

There are lots of things that I bring to the table - I truly enjoy spending time with children. With children, I value learning and creativity. I appreciate cultural exchange and I'm committed to creating a warm, respectful and inclusive presence for you and your family. I'm openminded and eager to adapt to your family's needs.

In my personal life and professional life, I work with many different age groups and enjoy every single bit of it. I currently work as a dietary aide with the elderly at a religious congregation in my home town. I also have a 19 month old niece who I absolutely adore and love to spend time with.

Some of my qualifications include Gentle Persuasion Training and EnAbling Change Program.
