Libby (24 / Ms. ), Czech, Babysitter living in Czech Republic looking for Au Pair job in Belgium, France, Italy & Spain for 12-24 Months

My first aupair journey started in France right after I graduated from high school. I spent amazing year with host family in the middle of beautiful Paris. I took care of four children aged 2, 6, 9 and 13.
Some of my main responsibilities were taking kids to the school and later picking them up, in the meantime when they were at school I cooked dinner for the whole family.
Most of the afternoons we spent in park close to our home, or playing and doing activities at home ( drawing, singing, baking or reading favourite books …)
I enjoyed my year with them so much that we stayed in contact and when the kids asked me 2 year later if I could come to be their aupair again I said yes and our second amazing year began.
I would honestly stay with even longer, but after second year they didn’t need aupair anymore so it was time to say goodbye.
Luckily we are still in contact and visiting each other.


During these 2 years I had between first and second time with my French family I spent 3 summer months in Spain with lovely family of 5.
I took care of 3 kids aged 8(boy),9(boy),11(girl)
I spent with them just 3 months but it was intense months as they had holidays and didn’t go to school. Our favourite activities during the day was going to the beach and do some activities there or play in the pool and do swimming competitions. In the evenings when the temperature wasn’t that high we were used to going for a walk or play basketball at the close playground.
Every second day I was helping them with English homework and trying to help them improve their English.

My last and most current aupair experience was with American family in sunny Florida.
I took care of 4 kids aged 6(girl),8(girl),11(girl),14(boy)
I spent with them amazing 9 months and got home this February.
Taking care of American kids was definitely challenging and different than being aupair in Europe.
Although the kids weren’t always well behaved we always made it work and in the end enjoyed 9 months together.
One of my main responsibilities was driving kids to the school or picking them up.
In the afternoon I was taking them to after school activities or playing games at home ( my host kids loved board games such as UNO, DOUBLE or Sleeping queens )
During the weekends I was taking two of them to soccer games to support them.
It was unbelievable experience and super thankful I had this opportunity to stay with American family and get to know their habits and different lifestyle.


As I already mentioned I was an aupair 4 times and these times were one of the best in my life. I would love to find one more family I can spend my aupair year with and give them and their kids the best of me.
