Letter to the family

Hello !

I'm new to this Au Pair platform, this would be my first time doing this, as I'm taking a break from my studies.

General Informations : My name is Marylou, I'm 18, and I'm French.
I'm also a student in languages, specifically in English.

My qualities : Caring ; Kind ; Emphatic ; Patient ; and i would say Emotionally intelligent due to being hypersensitive.

My flaws : Introverted ; Anxious ; Can be a bit slow if I'm not confident in my actions ; Can get overwhelmed at times due to being hypersensitive and anxious.

More about me : I love animals and i would not mind taking care of them.
Children with special needs, like medical assistance would also not be a problem, I would be happy to help. I've been told I'm the mom of the group by my friends, because I always make sure they're safe etc.

I wanted to become Au Pair because I had already heard about it before, and I always thought it seemed nice !
My main motive right now is that I want to take a break from my studies, I'll be honest, I'm a bit lost and not sure if I want to continue in this field, so I thought "Why not take a break and do something valuable ?"
I want to be able to visit a country while living in the reality of it and as I would love to travel, discovering new cultures and language, being an Au pair is the best solution. And obviously getting more open with children, and discovering a new part of me. I would also really love to learn a new languages and the best way is to directly be in the country.

I went to a "vocational high school" a studied selling assistance, specifically in garden center. I graduated and have the "Baccalauréat".

I want to mention that I did a one month Erasmus in Malta in June 2022, for an internship in a garden center. It was "Innovative Green" located in Qormi.

I hope this was enough to make a good impression, as for my flaws, i promise i'm working on it. If needed, don't hesitate to contact me.

Experience

I never actually took care of a child, but i know how to do, and I think i can do great in real life !
I have a nephew I took care of a few times, but I'm more at ease with children from 4-10 years old, as they mostly know how to express their needs.
I know it sounds unprofessionnal, but I want to learn, and become better at it, so please, trust me :)
I'm kind and gentle, and i would never harm anyone. If i'm not sure about something, I will ask instead of doing something that might be wrong. And i'm a fast learner. The thing is that I never had the opportunity to even put my knowledge into actions.
