My name is Irene, I am 20 years old and I come from San Marino. In September I will start the Sculpture course at the Academy of Fine Arts, after having attended the Art High School, majoring in Architecture and Environment.
I am currently a volunteer for the Italian Red Cross and I have participated in two volunteer projects abroad with the European Solidarity Corps, in Slovakia and Romania.
I am a creative, independent and curious person, with a strong passion for travel: I have had the opportunity to travel often, both alone and by participating in study trips to America and Austria.

I want to become an Au Pair because I love being with children, playing with them and encouraging them to discover the world around them. I developed this passion during my service with the Red Cross, where, together with other volunteers, I took care of children from 6 months to 15 years.
This experience had led me to consider, before the Academy, also a university course in Educational Sciences.
In addition to the desire to work with children, I feel the need to have a cultural experience abroad that will enrich me both personally and professionally.

I am a responsible, creative person who can easily adapt to new situations. I have already lived alone abroad, I speak English at a good level and I have direct experience with children.
I have a spirit of initiative and I am ready to offer my help in managing children, with enthusiasm and sensitivity.

BLSD certificate (first aid and defibrillator)

I would love to become an Au Pair: it would be my first experience in this role, but I am sure I can prove myself worthy thanks to my background in volunteering - especially in the family home - and the experiences abroad that have made me more independent, mature and open to cultural exchange.

Working in contact with children is something that I am deeply passionate about. Not only because I think it can help me in my professional future, since I would like to become an art teacher, but also because I find it wonderful to be able to be a support figure in the daily lives of the little ones: accompanying them in their routines, stimulating them, playing with them, helping them in activities and supporting them in their growth - always respecting the instructions and habits of the host family.

Doing all this in another country would be a great opportunity for me to grow. I love to travel and I am curious to discover the differences between cultures, lifestyles and ways of educating. Living this experience abroad would also allow me to improve my English in a practical and real context, enriching my personal and professional skills.

I feel that this would be a wonderful first work experience abroad, which would offer me so much not only in terms of training, but also on a human level.
