Dear family .
My name is Shelley Amanda, I am 21 years old and I live in Santiago de Cuba, the second largest city on the beautiful island of Cuba. Since my parents have been working outside of Cuba for some time, my 16-year-old brother and I live with my maternal grandmother, in a very cozy house.
I have already finished my high school in a pre-university with a natural sciences profile and I am currently studying my third year at the University in the Bachelor's degree in Sociology.
My interest in Italy arises because I worked as a geography teacher at the University and learned a lot about its rich and varied culture. I find the world of the arts fascinating, and Italy is the cradle of artistic manifestations, its numerous architectural works embellish it and its rich gastronomy, positioning it as one of the most exquisite in the world, with famous dishes such as: risotto, gelato, pasta and pizza. I love Italian music, especially its operas with their beautiful Arias that exude virtuosity.
I love nature and animals, at home we have raised pigs and birds and I always had dogs as pets. So that my grandmother would not be alone, I gave her a very loyal and playful dog. I like meeting friends to make music, study or just be with them. I also really enjoy when I am with my family at home, walking with my parents and telling them how I am doing at school, about my projects, because our relationship is very good and in my family we are very close.
I often help my brother with homework, studying or practicing what he learned at school.
