Letter to the family

Hello! My name is Jeanna, and i am a dual citizen of the US and Luxembourg. Currently, I reside in Europe. I am a compassionate and adaptable caregiver with experience in childcare, autistic care, and elderly care. I have a background in community-focused work, including volunteering with Up With People (UWP) and being a youth music leader.

I have always been passionate about caring for others, and I find fulfillment in creating safe, nurturing environments for both children and the elderly. I belief that everyone deserves patience, kindness, and personalized attention. Whether it’s engaging children in creative activities or providing companionship and assistance to older adults, I am committed to making a positive impact in their lives.

I bring a unique combination of caregiving experience, cultural openness, and adaptability. Having worked in various settings, from marketing to hostels, I am comfortable adjusting to new environments and responsibilities. I am also highly reliable, organized, and communicative, ensuring that both families and the people being cared for feel supported .

I approach caregiving with responsibility and empathy, always striving to create a nurturing and respectful environment. Additionally, my love of creativity and learning makes my job fun when I get to share it with them in a mutually beneficial way.

I am excited about the opportunity to become a part of a welcoming home where I can contribute positively while continuing to learn and grow.

Experience

Alongside, consistently babysitting throughout my life, I was a caregiver at a facility for individuals with autism and people with disabling disorders, where I provided both emotional and physical support, ensuring their well-being in a structured environment. This experience deepened my understanding of individualized care and the importance of creating a safe, nurturing space for those in need. Additionally, my time volunteering with Up With People staying in host families, and being a youth music leader has given me valuable interpersonal skills, allowing me to connect with people from different backgrounds and provide a great environment.
