Hi!

My name is Emma, I’m 19 years old and I’m from Italy. I’m looking for a kind and welcoming host family to live a new experience as an au pair. I’d love to improve my English — which I already speak quite well — and get to know a new culture from the inside.

Italian is my native language, but I’ve been studying English for several years and I feel comfortable using it in everyday situations. One of my goals during this experience is to become even more fluent by speaking it daily with you and your children.

I live with my parents in a quiet area just outside the city. I’m an only child, but I’m never really alone — we have two cats and a dog who are very much part of the family!

I’m a cheerful, calm and creative person. I studied at an art high school, so I really enjoy drawing, doing crafts and creating things by hand. I also love cooking — especially sweets and Italian dishes — and I enjoy sharing what I make with others.

I have experience with children thanks to my younger cousins. I’ve spent a lot of time with them playing, preparing snacks, drawing, and helping with little things. Being around them has taught me patience, how to stay organized, and how to really listen.

I’d love to become part of your family, help out in your daily life, and build a good relationship with your children based on trust and shared moments.
