Joanie (20 / Ms. ), Canadian, Student - Science / IT living in Canada looking for Au Pair & Nanny job in Germany, Greece, Italy, Portugal & Spain for 9-10 Months

Good morning! My name is Joanie and I am currently in CEGEP in Quebec. I will graduate from college this spring in science, with the goal of entering medicine at university. I am a volleyball athlete and did gymnastics from the age of 4 to 12. I performed in both sports at a fairly competitive level, for a total of 16 years of competitive sport. So I always had a very structured and disciplined lifestyle, something I loved all these years. However, now that my college studies are over and I am about to begin my graduate studies, I would first like to discover the world and a new culture, learn a new language and meet new people. I hope to create unforgettable connections and experience a new way of life, a new way of thinking and acting. In short, discovering who I want to be outside of this framework that I've always had broadens my horizons. To do this, I believe that there is nothing better than living with a family that embodies the culture of their country. Of course, I will be happy to help you facilitate your family life in any way you need! I love children very much, I love being around them, their curiosity about life and their joy of living. I lived for 1 year in a boarding family to be in a sports-study program where there was a 3 year old little girl, and I loved my year with her, we almost became best friends :) I I also have cousins between the ages of 1 and 6, and I love playing with them or preparing fun activities for them. I currently coach an 11-12 year old volleyball team and I coached a beach volleyball group between 11 and 15 year olds, because I like to be involved in the development of children and their learning, whether at 8 months or 8 years. I am also a CEGEP tutor in mathematics, chemistry, French and English, because I really enjoy passing on my knowledge and finding different ways to make the subject understood. I like to help people however I can and I hope we can help each other to make this experience enriching and unforgettable!
