Letter to the family

I'm Yağmur, a 24-year-old who recently graduated from Anadolu University's four-year Art Teaching program in Eskişehir, Turkey. I'm knowledgeable about childcare and passionate about children. I have a strong conscience. I want to be an au pair because I want to live in a different country and learn about different cultures. I also understand the challenges faced by children whose parents are busy. Therefore, caring for them is a pleasure for me. Since I'm already a teacher, I know I won't struggle.

Experience

I don't see being a live-in teacher as a job, so I don't have experience working with a foreign family. However, my family is large, and in our culture, girls, regardless of their age, should care for younger children like mothers. That's how I was raised. I raised all my younger cousins while their parents went to work. I helped them with their homework, made their meals, bathed them, made sure their clothes and diapers were clean. I ensured their safety. I always prioritized my younger siblings and cousins. I instilled in them a love of animals, engaged them in art activities, and supported their motor development.
