Letter to the family

Hello! My name is Yu-Chai, but you can call me Yu-Chae! I'm originally from Seoul, South Korea but I spent my youth in Australia and graduated collage in the States. I studied and made art my whole life, majored in film and video, and now I am an artist, writer, filmmaker, traveller, however you'd like to call me!

Now I am based in Korea again but I am planning to go on the Camino de Santiago this September and travel Europe after it without a return plan (so probs au pair starting from November). I am open to travel to any places.

I would love to become an Au Pair as its an awesome opportunity for me to get really involved in different cultures and especially because I love children. I believe good teacher is who teaches well and a great teacher is who learns too.
I can teach English, Art (painting, drawing, photography, videography, editing etc) and Korean.

Right now, I am an visiting English and art teacher in Korea, working with kids from age 5 to 12. I love playing with kids, doing creative activities and reading books.

I can assure you that i am very responsible, caring, positive and artistic:) I love nature, animals, books, arts, music and food! I like trying new things!

Experience

Even though I am new to Au Pair, I've been baby sitting since I was 15 in Australia, USA and Korea, now I teach english and art to kids in Korea, and I hope to work with children in the future too. I dream to have a children's art studio with a little garden someday where any kids can be creative, active and free. They so deserve it.

Last year, while i was solo traveling Thailand, I met a girl who introduced me to Au Pair.
As someone who loves traveling the world as well as interacting with children, I thought it was a perfect job for me.

I lived overseas since i was 12. I was an outsider for nearly my whole life, even to my own country, but instead of feeling defective, I became a person who has an open heart and appreciation to all things.
