Hello families!

My name is Malena and I’m a responsible, caring person with a strong vocations for looking after others. I’m a qualified nursing assistant and hold an official certificate in leisure and youth work, with experience working with children and young people aged 0 to 18.

I’m currently studying fashion, a passion I balance with my love for working with children. I consider myself creative, patient, and always ready to organise fun, educational and safe activities.

In addition, I have valuable personal experience: my brother has autism (ASD), which has given me a special sensitivity and the skills to support children with special needs with empathy and understanding.

Becoming an au pair is the perfect opportunity for me to combine my passion for childcare with my desire to experience new cultures and improve my language skills. I love spending time with children—helping them learn, grow, and have fun in a safe and loving environment.

As someone with a background in healthcare and youth work, I feel confident and well-prepared to support families in their daily routines. Being an au pair is not just a job for me—it’s a chance to become part of a family, share my culture, and build meaningful connections.

I also see this experience as a way to continue learning, both personally and professionally, while making a positive difference in the lives of the children I care for.

My dream host family would be kind, respectful, and welcoming—helping me feel comfortable and supported, especially as I continue improving my language skills. A patient and understanding environment would really help me adapt more easily to a new culture and daily life.

I would love to care for children between the ages of 4 and 8, as I really enjoy their curiosity, creativity, and energy at that stage of development. I’d be happy to help with their routines, playtime, learning, and emotional needs, always offering affection, structure and fun.

More than anything, I hope to find a family that values communication and mutual trust, so we can all enjoy a positive and enriching experience together.
