Hi,

My name is Grace, I'm currently in first year at university, having an amazing time but realising that the conventional education system isn't for me. After my gap year travelling around South America I would love to travel again. I began my Gap Year working as a gap student at a prep school local to me in which I worked 9-4 in the pre school and reception, and helping out with the after school club, running sports and activities for kids aged 5-13. This was a hugely rewarding experience in which I became close to the children, colleagues and other gap students. Similarly, I have a lot of experience baby sitting, working at after school camps and grew up with 12 cousins making video stars, having sleep overs and in an extremely sociable family.

I was very privileged to go to Bradfield college, a weekly boarding school in which I played first team netball, hockey and tennis (slightly more than focusing on my studies!), I was head of sport in my boarding house and spent the best 5 years living with all my friends and also getting involved in school plays. I also volunteered in programs such as 'ABC to read' in which I would go and help read to primary school kids in the local school. I love working with children and my gap year experience opened my eyes to become interested in becoming a teacher. I would absolutely love to be an au pair as I grew up with aupairs in which I got on so well with. I have grown up with 3 dogs, cats and turtles so am happy to look after animals!
