Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hi! We are a young South African/British family raising our two children in Buckinghamshire, a short train or bus ride to London or Oxford. We have a 2 year old little boy and a 7 month old baby girl and are looking for an au pair to join our family. We love exploring, days out, cooking, entertaining guests, having fun and travelling. We go back to South Africa every year to see family and travel across Europe to find some sunshine and explore. We have a lively and fun household with our children and pets (2 dogs and a cat) and would love to welcome someone who matches our energy.

Job Description

We want our au pair to be a part of our family and feel at home. We are hoping for an au pair to assist with childcare on the most part, no heavy cleaning is required (just tidy up after yourself and the kids if you’re doing an activity), and cooking breakfasts/lunches/dinners for the children. We ideally would like our au pair to work Mon-Fri 7.30am-5.30pm and any rare occasional evenings/weekends if we have an event to attend. Most events our children would attend too, and the au pair would be invited as well. We pay £100 a week pocket money to our au pair.

Accommodation

We have a large home with lots of space inside and welcome you to explore and feel at home anywhere in the house. We are able to offer a large bedroom with a king sized bed and fitted wardrobes, TV with cable, Netflix, Amazon prime and Apple TV. We have a nice sized garden front and back and like to spend our summer evenings cooking and enjoying the flowers and sunshine.
