Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Originally translated from Deutsch
Dear Au Pair,

We are a family of five who would be delighted to receive assistance with childcare. We live in Brandenburg in the countryside and are involved in agriculture. Our youngest child is 6 months old, our oldest is 4 years, and the middle one is 2 years old. Both older children already attend daycare, while the youngest stays at home. I (29 years old) am currently studying agriculture in the master's program, and my husband (30 years old) works as a farm manager.

Your responsibilities here would include taking care of the baby in the morning and providing partial care for the older children in the afternoon. I would greatly appreciate a little help with household tasks. Our children have a very cheerful disposition and enjoy playing outdoors, but they also appreciate indoor activities with Duplo bricks and puzzles. We would offer accommodation for you in the freshly renovated neighboring building of our house. There, you will have a private bathroom and access to a communal kitchen.

Since we live in a very rural area, and you will also be picking up the children from daycare, it is important to us that you have a driver's license. Berlin can be reached by car within an hour, and the Berlin Hauptbahnhof (main station) is also reachable within an hour from the nearest train station. Our location is ideal for weekend stays or day trips to Berlin to get a bit of distraction from rural life.

If you are interested in the Brandenburg adventure, we can have a phone call and get to know each other! We speak fluent German (of course) and English. My knowledge of French is a bit rusty, but I am willing to improve it :)
