Work abroad in Vicky's family for 10-12 Months starting from Mar 2024 as an Granny Au Pair to take care of 2 children of 0 - 1 year old & 1 - 5 years old in Ferntree Gully, Victoria Australia

We are a family of 4 (plus one fur baby)
two kids- Mr 2 and soon to be Miss 5
And very affectionate friendly Kelpie dog ? (Koda)

We have a brand new fully furnished self-contained studio (full kitchen, bathroom, queen bed, washing machine, oven, stove, fridge and smart TV with all subscription services and full internet)

My partner and I are full-time shift workers.
We live in Ferntree Gully, 800m from Ferntree Gully station (50min train to Melbourne city/38m drive by car)
Walking distance to iconic Mount Dandenong 1000 steps hiking trail.

My son attends daycare 4 days a week mon-thurs
Daughter attends a mix of daycare and kindergarten (Mon, Wednesday kinder, Tuesday, Thursday daycare)

We are looking for someone who is quite independent and would appreciate their own space but someone who is still willing to help with the morning and evening routine.

Role requirements would include getting kids up and ready for daycare/kinder (pack lunches, breakfast, dressed, brush teeth etc), daycare and kinder drop offs or pick ups, home activities, meal preparation and cooking for kids, help with basic tasks, help with night time routine (bath, reading etc), general tidying and occational dog walking.

Looking for someone who is energetic and easy going with a preference for experience as an au pair. Must have working with children and police checks as well as drivers licence (we’ll provide a the car).

We will need an Aupair for a full day on MOST Fridays.

We get a lot of days off, so on the days we are home, your assistance won't be needed as much.
With my work, I get days off in clusters, so during such time, you might be interested in exploring greater Victoria should you wish to sight see.
