Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Dear au pair,
We are a German-Czech family with three children (4, 7, 9) and are looking for a nice, child-loving person to join our family. We both work so we need support with the kids, housework. Our three children are very affectionate and have a lot of fun together and we wish the same from you.
You should speak enough German to communicate with the kindergarten teachers and the children, and you should be reliable. We are happy to help you practice your German. It would be perfect if you speak Czech or Slovak.
We already had two au pairs and are/were very happy with them. They also felt very comfortable with us. Our current aupair is retiring in January so we will need a new family member then.

Frankfurt is in the heart of Germany. It is a very international, lively city where you will surely find everything and where you can quickly make social contacts. We are close to the city center, you only need 8 subway min / 15 min by bike to the center. In the surrounding area there is beautiful nature with the Rhine or the Taunus and in the Rheingau there is delicious wine.
You can also make wonderful trips from Frankfurt to the rest of Germany or Europe, we are perfectly connected. Of course, we also have recommendations and advice for travelling.

Job Description

We want our au pair to feel comfortable with us and to be accepted as a family member. In return, we expect reliability and that the au pair takes care of her tasks in the family. We need help with the children (driving around, playing) and housework (cleaning, laundry, garden).
Of course, we observe the guidelines, the time required for this must not exceed 6 hours on 5 days per week or 5 hours on 6 days per week, including babysitting. We rarely need support at the weekend, you have that to yourself and can travel or explore the city. This means you have at least one and a half consecutive days off per week.
So that everyone is in the office and kindergarten on time, our day starts quite early. We wake the children up at 6:15 am, around 7:00 am we have breakfast together. Then you take Tamara to kindergarten, Lena goes to school alone. The children are picked up around 16:00, sometimes they have children's gymnastics or other leisure activities such as horseback riding. At 18:15 p.m., the whole family meets for dinner. The kids go to bed arond 20:15.
