Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello out there :)

We (my 8 year old son and I) live very rurally in a small village. The nearest shops are 6 km away, and there is also the nearest train station where you can take a train to the university town of Göttingen or the state capital of Hanover within an hour. The train station can be easily reached by bus or bicycle (an e-bike is available). The next larger city is 15 km away, which is also where I work and where I go every day. There is a bus connection even without a driving license (bus stop is 30m from the house).
Our house is on the edge of the village close to the forest, where you can go for a walk and have some peace and quiet if you need a break.

Job Description

The tasks would be getting my son ready for school, taking him to the bus, light household tasks.
Then make him something to eat and play with him. Since we do our laundry together, it wouldn't be a separate task ;). Bread, fruit/vegetables and a bottle of water should also be prepared for school in the morning. Furthermore, after playing, the toys should of course be tidied up again with the help of our son, but I think that's normal.

I eat at work and can take care of myself. If the au pair enjoys working in the garden, flowers, vegetables, etc. can be planted there as she likes. It's not a must! But if you have a passion for gardening, I'm happy to offer it :)
