Hi,
My son is 27 and has cerebral palsy and autism. He has a busy life. Attending a day centre 3 days a week and a specialist exercise class twice a week. He generally speaks the weekends with his father who lives a 10 minute ride away. I’m looking for someone with an interest in special needs to be a companion to my son and to help him attend his regular activities and to take his swimming and to exercise classes. If over 25 you can drive my car to take him to activities.
We live in a busy town where there is plenty to do, pubs, restaurants, cinema and theatre. Plus parks and leisure activity.
We’ve had au-pairs for years when the children were small and I can put you in touch with Jak our last Polish au pair who now resides in Germany with his wife and child who can give you an overview of the job as it hasn’t changed much but Simeon has just got older…..his currant carer is fab but is 68 and is reducing his hours so I’m looking for someone special to take over and play a very important part in his and our lives as all our carers have.
