Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

We are a Portuguese-German family living in a house in Leiria. We have four children, two of whom are with us every other week, and a fifth child on the way. Additionally, we have three cats. I work remotely in IT project management, and my partner is the CFO of a company. The two children who are always with us attend an international school, while the other two attend a local school. We speak Portuguese, English, and German at home.

We are looking for an au pair who can assist us with our daily routine. Your main responsibilities would include helping the children get ready for school in the mornings and driving them there. In the afternoons, you would need to pick them up from school and possibly assist with their homework. The time in between is free for you.

On days when school is not in session, we may need your help throughout the day. Additionally, once the baby arrives, I will need extra support as I plan to return to working a few hours from home relatively soon after the birth.

We are looking for someone responsible, caring, and organized who enjoys being around children and can adapt to our multilingual household. If this sounds like a good fit for you, we would love to hear from you.
