Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

NOW LOOKING FOR AUPAIR FOR NOV-APRIL

Hello, we are an Italian family with two children aged 2and a half and 5 and we live a few kilometers from Siena in countryside in Tuscany.
The road is comfortable but there are 2-3 km of dirt road that is always accessible.
The nearest bus stop is easily accessible by bicycle, it doesn't rain often here.

We live in a large house with stairs and we have 2 guest bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the first floor
The garden outside the house still needs to be tidied up but it's nice to eat in the open air

We think that as an au pair it is a wonderful experience of cultural exchange and we can share a lot together: our habits, Italian cuisine recipes, the Italian language and also English (I used to work in England with the kids on the summer campus)

To simplify the bureaucracy, we prefer as au pair in the Schengen area, someone who speaks a little Italian and the minimum amount of English to understand us and who has preferably already had experience as an au pair on this site

Job Description

We would need someone who can play with the children like an older brother or sister

We can agree on the details together so that you can follow your study path

We are looking for a "big sister" not a babysitter and in return we can offer a lot such as cultural exchange, teaching cooking or the Italian language or speaking in English. we can organize ourselves to allow you to attend school (when the children are at school) and food, sleep and all the things in the house are in our care

Here are some examples of things you could help us with

The morning
Help while we get ready for school or waiting for the bus 07:00-08:00
In the afternoon the children return after 4.30pm to play together if we have some commitments or while we prepare our favorite recipes

The evening
Help may be needed to put them to sleep (book, bath, games) to entertain the older one while I put the little one to sleep

At home
We may need a hand to put away toys, children's clothes or laundry, start the washing machine or clear the table after breakfast if we are late or prepare a snack for the children

We can cook Italian recipes together and learn Italian or speak to the children in English or your language If you like gardening you can take care of the vegetable garden/animals but no support is required for these activities

Other things
If they are sick I also work in Smart working from home but I need the aupair babysitting when I'm in meeting
