Dear Future Host Family,

Hi! I’m Punyanjali (you can call me Punya). I’m 22 and from the ever-bustling city of Delhi, India. I come from a joint family full of chaos, love, and a lot of kids running around, two of them being my younger siblings, who I’ve had the joy of growing up with. Being the older one naturally pulled me toward being the helper, the guide, the calm in the storm and I’ve truly grown to love that role.

I’m someone who genuinely enjoys reading, writing, and painting, and I dabble in poetry when the heart gets too full. I’m emotionally aware, sensitive to the energy around me, and deeply respectful of people’s space and boundaries, things I’ve found to be essential in any caring relationship, especially with children. There’s something so honest and magical about how kids see the world, and to be part of shaping that world gently, and with warmth, is something I deeply value.

Becoming an au pair feels like an amazing opportunity — a mix of responsibility, connection, curiosity, and the joy of discovering another culture up close. I’m currently learning French and would love the chance to immerse myself in a space where mutual learning can take place. Where I bring my world to yours, and get to know yours with respect and open-heartedness.

I believe what makes me a good fit is not just my experience with children, but my nature — I’m nurturing, thoughtful, quick to adapt, and grounded. I don’t take trust lightly, and I would consider it a true privilege to be welcomed into your family.
