Since I was a teenager, I have worked as a babysitter as a second job. I have babysat for family, friends and neighbour's children of all ages. I found the role of being a babysitter was a fun yet challenging experience. From a young age, it taught me how to be responsible for other people and how to be patiently regimented. Through this time, I found out how joyous it is to have children in your life, and I would love to have experience this again.

As an au pair, I would be comfortable with a number of responsibilities such as carrying out the children's general morning and night time routines, cooking, playing games and basic household chores. If the child needs to be taken to school/activities during my stay and needs to be transported then I would also be comfortable with taking on that responsibility.
