As mentioned above I have had a vast amount of experience working with young people and in addition have lots of young children in my own family who I take care of. I have worked as a team leader at multiple summer camps, leading a group of 15-16 year olds through an intensive summer programme including residentials and social action projects. In addition, I have worked with SEN students who are beginning their first job. I supported them to progress in their job. Finally, I have completed my PGCE in Secondary Education in Geography and worked as a geography teahcer for 4 years in London. Here, I had a vast amount of experience not only teaching and supporting students to progress in their studies, but worked closely with students as I acted as a form tutor, ensuring they had a smooth time at school. I have had alot of experience in safeguarding and supporting students through difficult times. In addition to being an Au Pair, I would be more than happy to support with tutoring aswell, specifically in English and Geography.
