Hello families!
My name is Waraphitcha, but it’s easier to call me Valen. I'm 23 years old. I have participated in the Work and Travel USA program twice. I’m confident with my English and how to adapt myself in a different country.
I was born and raised in Angthong, Thailand until 18. People say I'm a good speaker, friendly, funny, laid-back, and kind. I love telling funny stories, traveling, hiking, cooking, and being a good listener. I’m very interested in cooking and I can cook many Thai dishes and desserts. I would love to share this skill as an Au pair with my host family. For fun time, I enjoy traveling to natural spots, like mountains or seas. I also like editing videos and photos. I also have a 2-year driving license.
Now, I work as a Sales Associate and have a lot of experiences in different jobs in Thailand and the USA. But the most important thing is that I love spending time with children. I have been working as a teacher assistant at Green Field Nursery Thonglor. This international nursery uses English for communication and I have been taking care of children from 6 months to 5 years old.
I love traveling and experiencing new cultures. I want to see Europe and how the culture is different from the USA. As an Au Pair, I hope to gain new experiences, meet a lovely family, learn new languages, and have a memorable time of my life. I'm motivated because I think at 23, it's the best time to try new things in life, live and adapt to a new country, and language before I properly start my career. I love kids and would love to live in Europe for a while.
In the future I plan to go back to Thailand to study an online course in Data Science which I can transfer credits to my Master's degree in Thailand. I can communicate in basic English and am currently studying German.
