Dear host family,
My name is clementine Achieng', a 24 year old from kenya.. I'm really honoured to join this platform as an aspiring aupair.
Im well aware of the fact that you've received a lot of letters from prospective aupairs but rest assured, you will not regret reading my letter.

I do regard myself as a dedicated, strong, hardworking, assertive, responsible and emotional human being. My family consists of my indian guardian parents, three brothers and two sisters. I also get to stay with my 12 and 6 year old nephews and 5 year old niece. We do support each other as a family and all of us share a close bond with each other. The fact that i come from a blended family has taught me how to view life as an individual.

I've had the opportunity to take care of my two nephews and niece as a nanny while my brother and sister-in-law went to work for a period of two to three years,therefore, i'm aware of the kind of attachment children may need. I've also had the chance to volunteer as a caregiver during one of my attachment sessions for a period of three months in a local hospital.
I recently graduated with a diploma in community health and development, which has enable me to learn about the safety and health of children as a whole.

Cooking is my favourite hobby and i enjoy learning how different people and their cultures term how a tasty dish should be. I aslo tend to write poems during my free time regarding the life experiences that i get. My greatest worry is letting go of the attachment i've formed with the children
Which is an emotional roller coaster

I'm now in the process of searching for a host family that will welcome me with open arms into their family for a period of one year or more. I'll really love to learn different languages and culture of my host family. I hope to be the next Aupair in your family.
