Tabby (17 / Ms. ), Scottish & British, Student living in Scotland looking for Au Pair job in Belgium, France, Netherlands, Spain & Switzerland for 1-2 Months

Hello future host family! I'm from rural Scotland hoping to au pair in the summer of 2024. I am a prospective law student and will begin my degree at the University of Cambridge in October.

It has always been a dream of mine to au pair. I really enjoy looking after children, having found my experiences volunteering with children very rewarding. I am a truly thoughtful and caring person who will ensure that the children I look after are always happy and safe.

English is my native language and I speak French to a good level (I got an A in Higher French and am currently studying Advanced Higher French). I also understand some Dutch and Spanish, as I have a natural aptitude for languages and can pick them up very quickly. Working in a pottery which has plenty of international customers, I frequently to put my French into practice conversing with them.

I really enjoy cooking a variety of meals from different cultures. I would love to share some traditional Scottish recipes with the family and am happy making the children snacks and meals. I am vegetarian (and have been my whole life) but don’t mind preparing fish- although I would rather not cook meat.

I love animals (having a dog myself) so would be delighted to care for any pets in the household. I also have extensive experience caring for horses, as well as other animals including lambs and kittens at my local stables.
