Hello! My name is Katie Anne and I am recent graduate from a Liberal Arts College in the United States. I graduated with a degree in Psychology and I hope to continue my education to become a therapist for Children and Adolescents on the Autism Spectrum. I would like to become an Au pair or Nanny because I want to fully immerse myself into a new culture while caring for children and to also share my culture with my host family as well. I want to help ease the lives of the families while forming a lasting relationship with them. I have been a tutor at my college for last four years and I have also been nannying/babysitting since I was 15 years old. I think your family should host me because I would be able to engage in enriching activities with the children, and your family as a whole, while also being there as a source of information for the children since I have been a tutor for a long period of time. I would be able to assist with school work, while also making it an exciting activity that enrichens them and does not bore them. I qualify for the position because, as I stated previously, that I have been a tutor for four years at my college and I have been nannying/babysitting since I was 15 years old. I have driven the children around, taken them to appointments, done arts & crafts with them, and I have also formed strong relationships with all of my past families where we still keep in contact to this day.
