Who Am I?
My name is Gülsüm. I was born in Ağrı, Turkey. I completed primary school there, and later moved to Aydın, where I finished middle and high school. My family and friends describe me as cheerful, friendly, and responsible. I’m the youngest of five siblings. Two of my brothers each have two daughters, and my sister has two sons. Since my brothers’ wives work, I spent a lot of time caring for my nieces and nephews. I helped them with daily routines and created fun and educational activities. Especially before they started school, I supported their development at home as much as I could. This experience helped me build strong communication skills with children and develop a deep love for childcare.

Why Do I Want to Be an Au Pair?
Before starting university, I want to gain international experience, and I believe being an au pair is the best way to do this. I love spending time with children, I have real experience, and I feel confident in my abilities. Living abroad and working closely with a family will not only help me grow personally, but also prepare me for my future career.

Why Should a Host Family Choose Me?
Even though I’m the youngest in my family, I’ve always taken on many responsibilities at home. This has made me organized, hardworking, and dependable. I always try to do my best in everything I do. I easily adapt to new environments, enjoy helping with household tasks, and truly care about the well-being of children. I would love to become a big sister figure to your kids.

Why Am I a Good Fit for This Position?
I plan to study and become a pediatric nurse in the future, so this position is an important step for me. I’m caring, attentive, and motivated when it comes to working with children. Thanks to my previous experience and future goals, I believe I am a strong and passionate candidate for this opportunity.
