Hello everyone,

My name is María Camila , I’m 25 years old, a lawyer, and currently finishing my second degree in Anthropology. I speak Spanish, English, a bit of French, and I’m currently learning German. Since I was very young, I’ve been deeply curious about how cultures shape people and influence the way they live. This curiosity has led me to get involved in social issues and explore different perspectives around the world.

I want to become an Au Pair because I believe it’s a unique opportunity to experience a culture from the inside, in the most authentic way: through everyday life in a family and especially through children. I find it wonderful how children perceive the world with spontaneity, creativity, and sincerity. I’m also excited to share with them aspects of my own culture, such as our traditions, customs, and food, in a mutually enriching exchange.

I have hands-on experience in childcare, especially with my 7-year-old nephew, who lives with me part-time. Through this experience, I’ve learned to care for him with love, patience, and respect, while also setting clear and empathetic boundaries. I’ve also come to value teaching through play and using assertive communication as key tools in child development. That’s why I’m confident that I would be a great Au Pair, I’m motivated, caring, and full of positive energy.

In addition, I’ve been preparing for this experience for several years. I’ve completed a first aid course, worked at a daycare called PILOS that welcomed diverse children, and I hold a valid driver’s license with several years of experience. My academic background, eagerness to learn, and genuine interest in cultural exchange make me feel fully qualified for this role.
