Letter to the family

Dear Host Family,
My name is Johanna Antonia and I am going to turn 18 years old next February (2024). Also, during the upcoming spring, I am going to finish school career with the Abitur (the highest school degree in Germany) at a secondary, bilingual school in Germany. After graduation, I would like to gain new cultural experiences abroad as well as further experience in caring for babys and children. In the future, I would like to have children of my own, which is why I have already babysitted for some familys in the past couple of years, as well as taken educational science as an advanced course in school. I am very much looking forward to the experience of supporting you and getting to know you and your children better.

I am very much looking forward to getting to know a different culture, as well as gaining deep insights into everyday life and the language of the host country. Since I would like to do something meaningful and social during my time abroad, I have decided to spend this time as an AuPair in a host family with children. Since I am good at school myself and have already helped other students with their homework, I would be happy to help your children by tutoring them in school or help with any upcoming projects.
