Hello,

It's wonderful to meet you. My name is Julia and I am a college student studying in Philadelphia, in America. I am originally from Boston.

I am looking to go abroad this summer in order to further gain immersion in Italian or Spanish and to familiarize myself with another culture. I love traveling and I adore taking care of kids.

I am a friendly and responsible person. I can prepare simple meals, clean, and entertain kids of most ages. I have nearly ten years of babysitting experience and have always enjoyed spending time with younger students and absorbing the wonder of learning things for the first time. I am First Aid and CPR Certified. I have strong safety instincts. I am relatively athletic and can swim, bike, run, and do most summery things. Additionally, I am an animal person. I am very good with cats and dogs and have had pets of my own.

Experience

I have no prior experience as an Au Pair, but I am very accustomed to childcare. I have babysat for nine years now, taking care of kids ranging from babies to twelve year olds. (My preference in babysitting lies with elementary and middle schoolers). I want to become an Au Pair abroad because I feel it will be a very self-evolving experience for me and will allow me to grow, both as a language learner and a person.
