Letter to the family

Hallo! Ich heiße Erika und ich bin 22 Jahre alt. Ich komme aus Italien, und zwar aus einem kleinen Dorf in der Nähe des Comersees und umgeben von Bergen. Seit 2020 bin ich Studentin an der Universität Mailand und ich studiere deutsche und englische Sprachwissenschaft und Literatur.

Während des Sommers, am Ende des Semesters, helfe ich meiner Mutter bei der Arbeit in ihrem Lebensmittelladen. Aber als ich jünger war, habe ich als Babysitter gearbeitet: Ich verbringe gerne Zeit mit Kindern und ich komme gut mit ihnen aus. Ich habe auch einige Erfahrungen als Kinderbetreuerin in Schulen oder Sommercamps gemacht, wo ich den Kindern mit Hausaufgaben half.

Ich freue mich darauf, ihr so bald wie möglich zu treffen, damit ich euch noch viel mehr über mich erzählen kann.

Ich finde die Au-Pair-Erfahrung eine nützliche und großartige Gelegenheit, um meine Deutschkenntnisse durch die Arbeit mit Kindern zu verbessern. Als Au Pair im Ausland ermöglicht es mir auch, eine neue Welt kennenzulernen, meinen Horizont zu erweitern und unabhängiger zu werden.
