Carla (24 / Ms. ), Canadian, Administration living in Canada looking for Au Pair & Nanny job in Australia, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands & New Zealand for 1-24 Months

My name is Carla, and I am 24 years old. I was born and raised in Alberta, Canada, about an hour away from the Canadian Rockies in Banff, and 30 minutes to the larger city of Calgary. Growing up, I played Ringette (it’s an ice sport, a little like hockey, with a totally different set of rules. We use a straight stick and a ring!), fast pitch softball, and basketball. These days I don’t get many opportunities to play, but I love watching sports! Being so close to the mountains, my family spent plenty of time camping and hiking, both of which I still enjoy. I love to have fun! I currently work at my local recreation centre, where I get to have fun at work every single day. I enjoy reading, hanging out with my parent’s dog named Darwin, and love the occasional binge watch of a sitcom.

Au Pairing sound like an idyllic and rewarding opportunity. I would love to work with children, while learning about a new country and culture! I would love to become your next Au Pair because I love children and enjoy spending time with them. I am prepared and I am well aware of the fact that being like a big sister for your children comes along with responsibilities for them and it will not always be just play and fun. My calm and patient personality will help me to master more difficult situations for instance when the kids are tired or don’t want to listen to me.
