Dear, my name is Ivette Roa, I am 26 years old and I live in Concepción, Chile. Last year I went through a difficult situation, I had surgery twice for a lumbar hernia, and I lost a year and a half of my life between both surgeries and the subsequent recovery process. During all that time I felt so trapped, literally speaking, since my only view during that time was the window of my room in the apartment I have lived in for four years now. Every day I saw planes go by and I imagined myself in them, escaping. I was in very dark places throughout the recovery process, but at that moment I realized that if I recovered I did not want to stay in this place, the desire to live and travel, and know and share another culture became more and more latent and They were that light at the end of the tunnel, that light to which I clung to give me strength to continue.
I would like to be an Au Pair because it would give me the unique opportunity to live an experience that I couldn't even imagine in my wildest dreams. I am someone who is quite kind and well-disposed, I am proactive and I have always been told that I get along well with children, especially the little ones. I feel good helping and I would love to be able to help a family, whether for their jobs or if they want to spend some time alone. And the reason why I qualify for this is that I am someone who wants to help, work and live. I have knowledge of childcare and I am always attentive to instructions and suggestions, everything that is necessary to do a good job.
